Eve, Women of the Bible

There is so much to say here in reference to Eve as a woman and a daughter of God. I'll summarize by adding these comments; as a result of making a hastened decision without consulting with Adam first and having doubt of God's word, Eve committed a sin that ultimately affected all man kind.

Often times in our own lives as wives, mothers and daughters of God, we too make hastened decisions not realizing the aftermath it often leaves on our families both spiritual and fleshly. This was a great story and leaves so much to be said. We are all a work in progress striving to make heaven our home. However, because Eve used her power of pursuasion towards Adam in a negative way, she ultimately put a wedge between Adam and His God not to mention herself and all the seed to follow. With that said, we must be careful with the power we have as Christian women. We have the power to pursuade our spouses also. It can be in a positive or negative manner, but know this, we have the power to cause great dismay and havoc among God's people and the power to bring unity and love by using positive pursuasiveness.

I am learning. Each day is a constant struggle for me, but as I learn to let go and let God have His way, I am learning that it is going to be alright. From my readings, I have several interpretations: The first influence of a woman towards mankind was sinful and caused a ripple effect of destruction; we are not put on earth to lead, but to guide and support; we must realize that we are the weaker vessal and can often be misguided in our daily decision making by others and should always consult God our Saviour as we struggle with our daily spiritual walk. I'm finding that this is what keeps us aligned with God and keeps us doing His will and not our own.
